I like the Sumatra PDF viewer almost as much as I like FoxIt. Seeing that Sumatra is the smaller of the two, is completely open source, and flies like a banshee on even the most heinously large PDF files, I decided to make that the default PDF viewer for our Citrix VDI-In-A-Box systems, and to deploy via our application virtualization environment. One thing I really, really don't like about Sumatra, however, is that it does not allow you the option of changing the install folder during the install process. It just goes straight for wherever your %programfiles% variable points to.
There's two ways around that:
1) Virtualize the app exactly as done my prior description of how to do Medisoft under App-V - simply let it install to the default directory and remove any unwanted junk (like the link to my Apps folder that it captures).
2) Change the %programfiles% variable on your sequencer before sequencing. This is NOT supported by Microsoft.
You can also move the entire folder, but that results in Sumatra being in "Portable Mode", and not associating itself as the default application with PDF files.
